I don’t know what I love most about this podcast…. Mike’s excellent analysis, Jess’ enthusiasm and general awesomeness (I’ve been a fan since I heard her on the original Nerdist podcast) or the love that they both give to Sonia Citron!!! (Current SB townie, but NYC born and raised reviewer here…)

I already had a couple of solid journalist-y CFB and ND sports podcasts in my collection. In its first couple of months Echoes has already become my far and away favorite ND-fan-first-journalist-second podcasts, (sorry if that’s not what you guys are going for)

As soon as one episode is done I immediately can’t wait for the next!!!! Please keep ‘em coming!!

Final note: I’ve been listening to podcasts regularly since 2006! I am so enthusiastic about this podcast that this is the first review i’ve ever submitted to the Apple app!

Absolutely excellent Notre Dame podcast! I listen to podcasts while I’m painting, and Jess and Mike inspire me to stay in the studio longer. I love Mike’s former player perspective, and Jess keeps things spicy with relevant facts. Also Jess and I have the same favorite ND home game: the Indiana game that kicked off the CFP was pure joy! Jess I want to send you my Indiana CFP painting/plaque!

This is the best school/team specific CFB pod I have ever heard. Gojo and Smetty are SO knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. I’m not even an ND fan but I won’t be missing an episode. This will help me with my C2C fantasy team as well. Cheers guys.

I don’t know that my little ears have ever tingled with Irish Joy more than when this podcast was officially announced. My two absolute favorite Notre Dame sports personalities, coming together and commiserating with all of us all as we try to wade through this beautiful torture that is loving ND sports. It’s a beautiful well baked mixture of real time, mid game nervous breakdowns followed by a big bowl of mayonnaise on the side, all probably accompanied by a soundtrack by Taylor Swift. This podcast is what I need. Can’t wait to go on this crazy journey with you! Go Irish!! All the stars!!!
