This is a great podcast. The Detectives is s true crime podcast gor people who Want the real scoop-mostly “just the facts”- without the ranting and sarcasm of so many in true crime. Found this through The Prosecutors Podcast- (which is still the best), and it’s a fantastic complement, for learning about the detective side of a criminal investigation, including how detectives process and cope while examining all the worst things that people to do each other.
These guys are Fantastic! Thank you Detectives!

I could hear the emotions in your own voices as you spoke of the events. I’m sure it opened wounds of your own from cases you’ve had. The conversations are ugly, but we can’t help if we don’t know what’s happening in our own corners of the world. We must have stronger punishments like Alabama’s automatic life sentence for crimes like those in Bibb County. There’s no rehabilitation for pedophiles; there can be no parole. There’re only more damaged children if they’re released.
