I’m giving two stars instead of one because I love Brad Mielke. But y’all, if you’re gonna have a true crime podcast, the bare minimum is that you get your facts straight, even the “little” ones. I’m 4 minutes and 12 seconds into the Karen Reed episode and had to stop it. The plan was not for Karen to drop John off and leave. The plan was for him to see if they were actually invited because it was the sister-in-law, not the homeowner himself, who invited them. And no, you can’t hear her saying “I hit him. I hit him. I hit him.” in the video. That was the trial testimony but there is no actual video evidence of this. This is a case that many people have been following very closely and have very strong opinions about. You can’t mess around with this one or the crazies will come. for. you.
