The Sam Allberry discussion was wonderful! Really great framing of core issues in our culture and the church. Speaking truth about singleness, sexual sin, and how to love our brothers and sisters in Christ well.

This podcast has quickly gone to the top of my list. The interviews are fascinating and such faith builders. I finish each episode amazed at the goodness of God. Thank you, Paul and Shelby.

I love the longer conversations where you really get to know the heart of the people being interviewed. It introduces you to different brothers and sisters that you may not be familiar with, walking you through a wide variety of topics.

I’ve been surprised how many conflicting comments from the cohost go unaddressed (every episode I’ve listened to has had a major element but the most extensive was the big riff praising the enneagram). If Paul agrees, I don’t see how it’s coherent with the body of his teaching but he won’t address it in real time, which I feel is more damaging than not doing a podcast. Paul himself seems more gifted in writing and teaching rather than conversing in this format - he talks too much and delivers a paragraph rather than a dialogue w/ various guests so each podcast feels the same. Ultimately, I end up disheartened and deeply saddened that the cohost that was selected obviously is not on the same page and the host missed opportunities to model his theology in practical ways.
