Update: Best New Years gift ever! Chris returns from Xmas break and the show is now complete with the real Chris Plante bumper music and ads cropped out! So much more enjoyable to listen to! Great job team!
I’ve quickly become hooked on the Chris Plante show- I really enjoy his pointed remarks, his unmatched sense of humor and his think-out-loud style of broadcasting. When the solid 3 hour recording from WMAL became three 40-minute podcasts with Spanish Geico ads and a minute of dead air instead of the regular studio ads, I went along with it. But I just listened to yesterday’s show, posted in the old format for some reason, and I have to admit I have missed the daily Washington traffic reports, the convenience of a single podcast, the authentic Chris Plante bumper music, and even the goofy local news stories. I have no idea why Chris’s show can’t be posted as an hour and twenty minutes of Chris only, complete with his bumper music and with the ads simply cropped out (à la Mark Levin). But until that mystery is solved- and perhaps it may never be- my vote is for the complete unedited version. If anyone’s counting votes.

Been listening to Chris since stumbling upon his show while driving through DC in 2015. I’ve been listening everyday since. His humor is intelligent and top notch and I always look forward to 3 hours of laughter. Thank goodness for the podcast recordings, I hate to miss a minute.

Chris is what conservative talk shows need more of: humor, wit and satire (but excuse the colon) He informs, entertains and makes me laugh out loud. Comes up with great sayings and nicknames of our political opponents.

I’ve been listening to Chris since I retired back in 2017. He is funny and entertaining. As a retired Air Force member and Federal Air Marshal out of Chicago I can definitely relate to his commentary and experiences. His Newsmax show is👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The term “cat fight” is a tired, old, bygone, offensive, misogynist phrase that should not be used in the 21st century, especially in a podcast claiming to be factual and news-based. Please stop using the term to describing an argument or fight just because women are involved.
The embarrassing dust-up in the House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday night (May 16, 2024) was started by a nasty comment that others had every right to call to strike. I don’t condone representatives on either political side becoming rude or breaking decorum, and I don’t condone calling what happened a “cat fight”!
