I’ve read their blog and listened to their podcast for years. This is absolute gold if you are a man looking to grow in your faith, understand more about Catholicism, and/or just think about the world from a unique (and honest) perspective. I credit these guys with helping me to grow in my own faith, and a piece of the puzzle that eventually led to me becoming Catholic.

The wisdom and advice these married, family men share are gems for any married man or woman. (And, even those seeking or preparing for marriage!) So much truth, and the action steps are practical for any marriage. Any vocation is about self sacrifice, but the enemy is attacking the family like never before and we all need to have our armor ready. This podcast will help you fight the battles of every day family life!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I’ve listened to everything Devin putts out. John and Sam are amazing as well. One of the Best podcasts in my opinion. Perfect balance of temperaments with the hosts. Podcast is full of passion and wisdom not chastisement.

This show delivers solid, practical wisdom for men today grounded in Catholic spirituality. Highly recommend.

I have been listening to this show for a long time now. It was fantastic under Sam, but there was a noticeable shift when John and Devin took over. The podcast became about chastisement rather than education and encouragement. Devin does everything short of yelling at men he doesn’t know, and that amps up John. I thought I was being too sensitive, and so I continued to listen because there are good topics. However, the most recent episode John admits that it is a common criticism they receive. He then proceeds to tell everyone that they are wrong and yell at them. These two gentlemen seem to have become blissfully unaware of themselves. We are not soft people and we aren’t afraid of correction, but delivery is important. I don’t need another drill sergeant in my life. Other shows have figured this out, as I listen to several other Catholic men podcasts. It was even figured out on this show when Sam was at the helm. Gentlemen, if you are receiving a criticism which is common, perhaps the criticism is just and your reaction should be self-reflection and not lashing out at your audience. I am disappointed to say I have unsubscribed after years of listening.
