Produced by real journalists who care about facts as well as about the evangelical church. Commentary is always intelligent, and often includes informed critique of both government and churches. If you’re looking for a news analysis show that will reassure you that our side is just right and the other side is just wrong, skip this show. But if you want a deeper dive into the facts behind the headlines, and you are looking for informed perspective, this is the show for you.

Some of the episodes are good and they get into topics that are under the radar yet interesting. However the episodes covering Israel-Gaza are so disastrously biased, it loses credibility and devolves to Israeli lives matter more than Palestinian lives. I hate saying that because I really respect CT and used to subscribe but I just don’t get why they are so cut and dry in a way that devalues innocent Palestinians in such a sad way.

This podcast helps me stay sane as I try to understand what is going on with the church. I am baffled the majority of the time. Listening to people I trust, even though I may not agree with each opinion 100% of the time, helps me understand our current day reality.

I highly recommend both CT magazine and this podcast to anyone looking for a rational, thoughtful, balanced approach to current events from a Christian worldview.

I used to love this podcast but had to stop listening because of the lack of empathy regarding Gaza and the people of Palestine. Mike’s view of the current situation does not take into serious consideration the years of Palestinian history. I cannot listen any longer, and have found a much better wholelistic approach at Theology in the Raw.

I've been listening to The Bulletin for a couple of months now, trying to remain objective. However, I've found that the hosts are liberal-leaning and primarily promote liberal talking points. When they have guests, they are either from known liberal organizations or are supposed conservative Republicans, often referred to as RINOs. The hosts attempt to sound intelligent by giving long-winded answers, using big words, and presenting questionable facts about historical events.
The show would be much better if they included some opposing viewpoints or guests to challenge them, but I have yet to see that happen. It seems life is easier when everyone agrees with you and you go unchallenged. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect is that they talk very little about Christianity and how to bring others to Christ. I don't think they are bad people, but they project their liberal views onto the audience, making it seem like all Christians should share their viewpoint.
The show can be fun to listen to for a good laugh and to see what liberals are talking about.
