I don’t believe this has ever been seriously said, but this podcast is one of the most meaningful uses of my time (with my children), and I’m thankful that you are both resting. Such wisdom. I love humor. Humor helped me through a tough time in my life.
When I listen to someone talk or watch a movie that’s funny, I usually laugh on the inside. I smile. But rarely do I laugh out loud. Your podcast makes me laugh out loud! I truly appreciate the spontaneity and the clever wit. One feels rehearsed; the latter wins my funny bone every time.
I’m not a strong reader. I know education is beneficial, but I struggle with reading skills and often feel frustrated when I try to practice. Somehow, The Book Pile appeared on my radar, and I’m so glad it did. You provide super-charged Cliff Notes, and I genuinely appreciate that. I feel like I’m getting smarter — reading therapy! I’ve even bought audiobooks you’ve recommended.
