The Book Club - Podcast Rankings and reviews

The first episode was so much fun. I was prepared for a lot of the ordinary rehashing about the Brontes etc. A perfect balance between giving enough background for those who haven’t read Wuthering Heights itself, but a much more wide ranging conversation about different points about the book and the historical context. I’m very enthusiastic about all the books mentioned that are coming up and especially The Secret History which is one of the most disturbing and compelling books I ever read. Conclusion: no surprise that anything Dominic does is massively enjoyable, and also great to get to hear Tabby finally.

I’m so thrilled to have found this club. Lovely discussion from the start and a list of books that are some of my favorites coming up. I can’t wait to revisit old loves and be introduced to new gems!
