Listening to this show changed my life. During the pandemic, I fell on hard times and was struggling, but I didn’t feel as if I could talk about it. I ended up losing my home and was dealing with anxiety that kept on getting worse and worse. I found this show because I was always a fan of Karena from Tone it Up. I started paying attention to her story and listening to the podcast & hearing professionals talk about tough subjects gave me the courage to ask for help. I was able to go from being homeless to staying with a family member and I was able to enter into a behavioral mental health program and get the help I needed. I also was able to get an autism diagnosis (I’m 37) and am learning skills to help me better function with work, friends & family. Thank you Karena for starting this podcast & the foundation. It gave me the courage to get the help I needed and now I’m sharing the message with more people.

Such an amazing podcast that gives such comfort for anyone going through any sort of challenge. I love what Karena is doing for mental health awareness. I have always been open to mental health and the countless ways people cope with challenges however this podcast cracks that openess wide open to an even bigger awareness. Thank you Karena and the whole Big Silence team!

After following Tone it Up for years and learning more about Karena Dawn’s personal journey, I knew her podcast was going to be informative, raw, and empowering.
This podcast brings in so many different and refreshing perspectives on mental health, wellness, and life. Some perspectives that may differ from one’s own catalogue of lived experiences or be on a different track of a different mindset. But that is the beauty of this podcast.
I even found a wonderful tool for my practice with clients (everyone, including my men are Boundary Bossing it up!).
There is power in our story and even more in sharing our story with others.
Thank you, Karena, Bobby, and team.

I’ve learned so much from these podcasts and I’ve always thought Karena’s voice is very healing (from doing her meditations with Tone It Up) The issues discussed in the episodes hit close to home and I love hearing the stories of different individuals and how they are overcoming their mental illness. Very grateful for this podcast and this movement that Karena is creating with the foundation.
