This podcast is a must listen for any history buff. I live in the American west (New Mexico) and it’s fascinating hearing about my region’s history from someone equally as passionate about it as I. It listens more like an audiobook than a podcast due to the colorful detail and well thought out sentence structure throughout. Sometimes it feels like Mr. Flores is in a competition to see how non-traditionally he can pronounce each word which I find very entertaining. I find myself repeating each word he says as I am truly astonished that I’ve never heard it pronounced in such a bizarre way. That being said, it’s not distracting and I find his voice and cadence to be calming.

Absolutely love every interview and podcast I’ve listened to with Dan. Captivating and knowledgeable but still approachable. Can’t wait for this!

This isn’t a podcast. This is an audio of something written like a book. And over produced with music and sound effects. No pause for reflection. No conversation. It just isn’t a podcast. I’d rather read this than listen.
