Blake and Scott..that Fela episode was so dope!! I was in an Afrobeat band back in the day and we closed just about every gig with Zombie! Amazing what can be done with one chord. Funny post script to that band; about a year after I stopped playing with them they traveled to Nigeria and played at the New Afrikan Shrine, opening for and collaborating with Fela’s son, Femi. Shoulda stuck with it a bit longer. Anywho, love the new show. Between Fela, Tom Waits, and Lee Scratch Perry, it’s like you’re deep diving on my college playlists 🤣🤣

Very cool Podcast. These guys have been well at in regards to bringing the goodness, and it shows. Not enough people are willing to talk music at this level, its refreshing to discover some Tape Spaghetti. Highly recommend.
