Subboor Ahmad is a public speaker, debater, and writer, whose work centers on engaging with New Atheism and critically examining Darwin’s theory of evolution through the lens of the philosophy of science. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree and PgCert in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London, and is currently specializing in the philosophy of biology. Subboor has traveled extensively across North America, Latin America, Australia, and Africa, where he has led lectures and debates aimed at teaching Muslims how to articulate Islamic perspectives effectively in conversations with non-Muslims. He has debated prominent atheist professors, activists, and internet personalities on topics such as God’s existence, the philosophical underpinnings of scientific theories, and the critiques of Darwinism. His work blends academic rigor with accessible communication, enabling him to reach broad audiences. Through his forthcoming book, “A Failed Hypothesis,” he intends to offer a critical philosophical examination of Darwinism and its implications. Subboor’s global outreach, writing, speaking engagements, and his upcoming book all reflect a concerted effort to challenge secular interpretations of evolution and provide the Muslim intellectual community with robust tools for engaging in meaningful dialogue.
