Absolutely enamored with this podcast! Recommended by a friend, this has been my “go to listen” for short/long runs. Intrigued by the content, impressed by the production and enriched by the historical knowledge. Looking forward to more content but in the interim, I will go through the collection…for the third time!

This is such a good podcast. It’s entertaining even though it covers terrible injustices and atrocities. It sheds light on the terrors of colonialism and the resilience of post-colonial peoples. And it’s just great little know history, or at least overlooked perspectives on history. It’s a must listen.

I never review podcasts, but I listened to all available episodes within a span of days and I’m so impressed with the quality of this show. Thoughtful, considerate, balanced, interesting and educational. For anyone who enjoys this show, I may also recommend a book called The Intimacies of Four Continents by Lisa Lowe which is also about the intertwined histories of colonial power. Will be excited for the upcoming season, thanks for the wonderful content.
