Hi Melly I really like your podcast but I want to see more queer and trans representation so far there are no out queer and or transgender characters in your podcast and with the way things are politically right now it could really help a lot of kids who don’t feel valid and or valued and representation is not inappropriate for kids and as a queer trans kid it would really mean a lot

I’m so glad I discovered this podcast and listened with my nephews and they loved it! Melly has great energy and I think they picked up on that. The stories are great and carry lessons in them without being preachy. This one’s definitely a hit with us!! 10/10 recommend!

In an effort to reduce screen time we are listening to podcasts in the car. I searched for podcasts narrated by and or/starring Black children because representation matters! I downloaded several for my 8 yr old daughter to select from and she listened to the first episode Stoopkid Stories and was hooked! There have been no complaints about wanting to watch a show on the car ride because she wants to hear what’s going on with the podcast. I also love that my child gets to view life through the lens of other Black children. Also, the narrator is fun, engaging and authentic!
