As someone who listens to drama podcasts constantly, this is rated high up there for me. The plot is great and the acting, sound effects and descriptions of scenes really allow you to make you feel like you are there. The creativity put into the entire concept of the show, down to all of the small details (food, equipment and realistic theoretical scientific approach) really sets this apart from others for me. The banter is hilarious. Also, love that you guys chose for the main character to have a companion, showing a more loving side to such a headstrong individual. Having the main character be a bit hardheaded and impulsive (but VERY intelligent) is a refreshing change from other sci-fi/horror podcasts. You don’t know what he’s going to do next and it keeps it very exciting. Just finished episode 12 and can’t wait to keep listening!!

Station 151 is definitely the best original sci-fi podcast I have listened to in years. It’s twists and turns keep me right edge, I can’t wait for each new episode. The extra back story episodes (listen as released so as to not spoil anything) fill in all the gaps, then continue to do so throughout the seasons. The planning of the story line is perfect, and the characters are well played and easily recognizable. Keep it up! More seasons please! Or even other Tellders Corp projects!

Station 151 is a fantastic Sci-fi audio drama. It has a similar quirkiness and depth of story as Ars Paradoxica, combined with the horror of The White Vault, and the humor of Wolf 359. Honestly, it’s probably about as good as Wolf 359, which is really the high water mark for Sci-fi audio drama for me. Spread the word about Station 151.

The plot lines and story twists are creative, and definitely sci-fi, but I question the fact that they call themselves a "sci-fi horror podcast." The production choices they make just don't lend themselves to a horror genre. At the end of each cliffhanger episode I usually want to know what happens next, but there is no tension. The helicopter pilot sounds like a bad John Wayne imitation, the dog sounds like an old Lassie radio play, and [spoilers] the two "alien" voices sound like Saturday Morning Cartoon villain school voice rejects. With the right production design this intriguing story could have been next-level. Instead, it's just mid.

The wonderful thing about season 1 was the mystery. It was so well written and you feel as if you’re on this supernatural journey along with Wayne. It does a great job of establishing an eerie sense of wrong that is hanging in the air and you end the season with so many questions. Season 2, unfortunately, has painted Wayne - who is supposed to an incredibly smart guy - as an obnoxious loud know it all that is insufferable. He acts like a spoiled child, arguing for the sake of arguing even when obvious evidence that contradicts his claims is presented to him. He is constantly cursing and throwing temper tantrums like a petulant kid, and it has made the series completely intolerable. I don’t know who wrote the second season or where they’re going with it, but the character devolvement has been so stark I really don’t care to know anymore. So sad, I was looking forward to unraveling the mystery but they painted everyone so drab and even the other actor’s monotone (the actor for Richard) leaves a lot to be desired. The only shining spot is astrid. I hope she kills everyone and puts the whole story to rest.

Most of season 1 is good! It's not a terribly complex story with deep thinking issues or anything, but it was good. Not bad at all if you don't mind a few dry AI voices occasionally. Season 1 set us up for an original, potentially intergalactic story, with some funny, aggravating, and stressful parts to it. But then, near the end of S1, and mainly all of S2, the story becomes very thin. The short episodes seem shorter, with less happening each time. The AI voices are dominating S2, and their dry, emotionalless demeanor is just too much. There is barely anything even happening in S2, and I just listened to the newest episode, 10. It's too bad, this podcast could have really went somewhere cool.
