This is an enjoyable podcast, but I will warn those diving in looking for a Star Trek Adventures actual play podcast of two things!
The first: Not to say they don’t take the story seriously, but this is a humorous take on Star Trek. Recurring characters are joked about, along with some of the ridiculous star trek plots. Certain important characters are given silly nicknames. And, one of the funniest running gags that also takes you out of the story sometimes: The supporting cast are implied to be feral animals (as opposed to anthropomorphic animals).
The second: If you’re a rules nerd, there’s some stuff they get wrong, some stuff they forget, and some stuff they just ignore. If you’re looking to listen to someone else to get a complete understanding of STA, you’re in the wrong place.
Despite all that, this is a lovely podcast, it’s fun as heck. The storyline, especially once they hit actual arcs and consequences, is riveting. If Apple had .5 stars I’d probably rate it 4.5!
It’s just sometimes a little hard to get invested when you realize the Bajoran resistance subplot would be important to the pregenerated stat block they used for a supporting cast engineer, except that Bajoran engineer is actually just a floating moray eel.
Brace yourself for absurdity, but watch with alacrity!

This podcast has me laughing out loud and feeling like I’m part of the group, in on the jokes, and included in the fun even though I’m just listening. Fun Startrek themes but even those of us with basic Trekkie knowledge can enjoy it.

I haven’t heard an episode where I have not laughed almost the entire episode. Even if you aren’t a Star Trek fan you should give them a listen. The banter and imaginative input is creative and almost always brings a laugh with it.
