The sound design is terrible. There’s constant echoing music over the talking and what’s up with the double-talking when the messages are read? Makes it hard to understand.

In the first episode it’s clear who the stalker is. The next few are essentially pointless listening as they provide no further information (they even spend an entire episode dissecting what listeners easily figured out already- similarities between Kin’s speech patterns and that of the “anonymous stalkers.”) After much dragging on, they mention the FBI is looking for Kin and then just… drop it without elaborating. This series had potential but ultimately is frustrating to listen to. The sound design is also melodramatic and distracting.

I’m mostly really liking this podcast. The story is truly horrifying and I’m so sorry Hannah went through this. Both hosts are good storytellers. I just feel like sometimes it’s a little disjointed. There are pieces missing and I’ve done back and registered to episodes a couple times to make sure it wasn’t that I missed something. It just feels like episodes end quite suddenly sometimes and new ones start in a different place. What even happened in florida?? I have no doubt it was bad but I wish the info was more thorough at times. I’m still hanging on every word though!

This is a story of extreme, depraved stalking that happened for an incredibly long time. I was stalked for several months when I was in college in the 00s and I had someone I worked with hack my email and socials in my 20's. I could not imagine going through what this young woman endured. The main difference between me and Hannah is that she seems like she was good at setting boundaries with people, and that probably means she didn't have a lot of practice dealing with extremely manipulative grifters. I was not very good at that when i was young and I was kind of a
mark.

The forensic portions of this have so far been fascinating. I'm looking forward to the final episodes of this podcast. I will say that this has dredged up a lot of personal memories. If you've experienced stalking heed their content warnings and proceed with care, but this was great.

This was a frustrating listen. The progression of events is recounted through enormous redundancy. The same details are repeated over and over, as though trying to stretch out the story to achieve more episodes while actual, salient details are excluded. What exactly happened in Florida, for example? It’s a vague recounting, at best.

It’s entirely understandable that someone would want to retain their privacy after an experience like this but if so, why agree to participate in a multi- episode podcast about their life?

I really enjoyed the first few episodes but then it felt like it slowed down and got dry & boring. Great narration & story- I just think it dragged a lot in the middle
