Stacking Slabs is my go to pod!! Brett’s enthusiasm and love for the hobby is evident every time you listen. The show is more about collecting what you love, and not the next hype train. Always has on great guests who discuss how they tackle the hobby for their collection!!

Hide your wallet and credit cards when listening to the Stacking Slabs Podcast because after hearing Brett’s passion for collecting you will feel the need to attack your eBay watchlist and buy every item. Brett loves cards and the authenticity of Stacking Slabs keeps me coming back every week.

Perfect podcast for a card collector! Great variety in topics. Brett always keeps the main thing THE MAIN THING. He understands what collecting is all about, and always brings it back to that. Anyone can appreciate that!

I listen to a lot of sports card podcasts. This is the only one that makes me feel good about my decision to collect the people in my PC. This podcast helps me stay excited about the hobby.

When this podcast is good, it’s great.

But when you “shrink your hobby sea,” you put yourself in a box.

The friday interviews used to be my favorite part of this show. But it’s become stale.

Generic Manning collector #132, generic Manning collector #133, generic Colts collector #56, drakes pc aka the least interesting man in the hobby interview #45, generic manning collector #134, wwe gellman interview #33, generic colts collector #57 and on and on.

The host has done a good job selling the whole “shrink the hobby sea” thing. But from a content standpoint, maybe consider expanding your topic sea. If he had more of an open mind and was willing to learn about areas of cards that - gasp - don’t appeal to him personally but appeal to - gasp - other people (imagine wanting to make other people feel welcome), this pod could be so much better.

This pod gets a lot of slack because of the longevity and people genuinely liking the host as a person. But this reviewer finds it boring and stale.

Cue the “well dont listen, then” response. Good idea ✌️
