I listen to almost all podcasts that discuss credit cards and I have to say the chemistry between the four of you is pretty awesome. Love hearing your different perspectives and the insight into why each of you have the cards you have.
I will say that in regards to the Capital One Venture X. Just recently I’ve had two friends and one family member sign up for it because they wanted a general travel card and this pretty much fit the bill. Not much thought has to be done etc.
Yes the transfer partners are lacking but for the average credit card user it’s a pretty strong card especially if they take a flight one or twice a year. Also a lot of people that don’t play the hotel loyalty game, getting 10x back booking hotels through the travel portal really shouldn’t be slept on.
That being said I realize that podcasts like these are not necessarily meant for the average card holder so everything you discussed in the latest episode is valid 👍🏾.
