Positives:
I like the structure, listen to the entirety, then focus in on the more difficult parts (especially ones you may have missed all together while listening). For me, it’s apparent that I need to go through the Learncraft Spanish Podcast before venturing in this, however, I also think that if used in conjunction together (once basics are mastered), I can see this being a great benefit to progress in the language. While one may only pick up certain pieces at first, I think hearing the natural speech of a story, especially one using mainly the top 1000 words used in the Spanish language, would be very helpful. Obviously, the further one progresses in the beginner podcast the more each story will make sense. Also, if repeating a story, one may become more familiar with the words and pick up on things quicker. Just a thought.
Also like that you can see the text of the whole podcast and go back and see how things are written thus also solidifying how phrases are to be structured.
Negatives:
None so far. ☺️

The Spanish Listening Practice podcast is a really great resource for Spanish learners and especially for those trying to build confidence using everyday language.
I really like the format, which has one episode per week with a dialogue that I plan to break into smaller chunks early in the week, then bring all together as a whole towards the end of the week in order to spend some time listening to more difficult sections multiple times to really get it in my head. In the past I've also used these types of dialogue-based podcasts to record myself speaking, and I'll just read the transcript out loud as a way to practice speaking in Spanish. I'll then listen back to these recordings and it's always obvious what needs to be worked on the most. A very eye-opening exercise!
What sets this podcast apart is how intentionally it centers on the 1,000 most commonly used Spanish words, weaving in verbs (in all their conjugated glory), idioms, and the grammar reminders that are so necessary when learning a new language and for being able to express yourself and understand others.
As someone who is working through the original Learn Craft Spanish podcast for daily lessons, I find this addition super helpful.
Thanks for the new resource!

Listening comprehension is super high on my priority list, so I was extremely glad to see this new listening comprehension podcast from LearnCraft Spanish. I have already completed about 80 lessons from the original LearnCraft Podcast - the best approach that I've come across for developing a solid grammatical base in a way that accelerates one's learning of the language. Now with this new series, I am more than hopeful that I will be able to improve my current, sorry state of comprehending an actual conversation. What I really believe will be helpful is that the stories used are selected for containing the most commonly used words. Bravo LearnCraft!

The Spanish Listening Podcast on Spotify uses repetition and explanation, two effective ways to learn. Timothy includes a few idioms too, which further aids in learning. My problem is that the native speaker talks too fast for me to really hear and understand all the words. (I have not tried reducing the speed). I feel like, as I progress in the original LearnCraft Spanish podcast, which I just started a few days ago, I will learn more about grammar, which will help my understanding immensely.
