This podcast is fun, clever, and interesting, covering a variety of topics, almost like a conversation at the dinner table. It's a conversation between two language teachers: a native spanish speaker and an english speaker who is at an advanced level in spanish. I'm finding this podcast really REALLY helpful to improve my comprehension of oral spanish. They are both engaging and the connection between them that makes the podcast fun

This show is a lot of fun. As someone who is completing the B1 level in Spanish, I am able to understand a good bit, but I also learn new words. I love the mix of a native speaker and English learner. It helps to show me what I can achieve one day and allows me to practice listening to different accents. I’m proud of the native English speaker. He’s clearly learned a lot and his Spanish is really fluent! It’s inspiring.👏♥️

I really love the concept of this podcast. The two hosts have a great connection and I appreciate the topics they cover. With that said, as someone who is learning Spanish the student’s accent makes it really hard to focus. He’s got his grammar nailed down but the accent isn’t suited for Spanish learners, and the other host is disingenuous about it, telling him his accent isn’t bad. It’s hard enough learning a second language, but learning it from someone who isn’t speaking correctly is nearly impossible, and incredibly frustrating.
