What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I really appreciate the way Farnoosh tackles topics from today’s news and helps break down information is a very digestible way. Her responses to listener questions are my favorite as they’re often topics I’m pondering myself. I also am grateful for the interesting people Farnoosh interviews who may not have been on my radar. It helps expand my resources and knowledge. I’ve been an avid listener for years and recommend to others I know. Thank you for what you do, Farnoosh!

I used to feel completely intimidated by money conversations. Personal finance always seemed overwhelming and out of reach—something I avoided rather than engaged with. But discovering So Money completely shifted that mindset. Farnoosh has a way of making you feel seen, supported, and capable. Through this podcast, I’ve not only learned the fundamentals of smart money management, I’ve actually taken control of my financial life. With the guidance and inspiration from the episodes, I was able to get myself out of significant debt—something I never imagined possible. I’m now empowered to keep learning and growing financially instead of feeling stuck or afraid. One of the things I love most about So Money is the diversity of guests Farnoosh brings on. Many of them are unconventional voices—people you wouldn’t expect to hear on a financial podcast—and they offer fresh, honest perspectives that go beyond just dollars and cents. Farnoosh weaves money together with real life: career changes, relationships, parenting, culture, and the social systems that affect our financial choices. Every episode is insightful, practical, and deeply human. If you’re someone who’s ever felt lost, behind, or unsure when it comes to money, I promise this podcast will meet you where you are and help you move forward—with confidence. Thank you Farnoosh for your fresh perspective on such an important topic!

RayClu · Jun 2025

I started listening to this podcast during COVID as a way to gain control over my finances in uncertain times. Now, five years later, we’re facing a similarly anxiety-inducing financial climate—and Farnoosh is still here, consistently guiding us through it. I’ve learned so much from her that this time around, I feel far more equipped to handle challenges and plan for the future. The fact that she puts out three episodes a week is a true testament to the value and dedication she brings to her audience.

Farnoosh is so smart and has the ability to explain complex concepts very simply. Great variety of guests and she is a great interviewer with almost a psychologists point of view. Super empowering but also validating and understanding.
