I’ve been a fan of Nayeema since her days with Kara Swisher and while I hate the podcast title, was looking forward to see what she would do as the host. I was pleasantly surprised by the Marc Cuban interview because I thought I’d heard it all before from him. She asked questions beyond what’s been covered with him on other podcasts. I learned some new things and had more to think about. My only critique would be to slow down just a bit or else have the audio person bring up the volume at the end of sentences. There were a half dozen times I had to go to the transcript to make out what was said.
The kids episode was brilliant. Loved that she asked actual kids instead of interviewing another “expert” for their dry, academic opinion.

Like many here I’ve been following Nayeema for years. Was like “what?!” when I tuned into Kara’s show and no Nayeema, and no explanation where she was. What the…?
I’m a huge pod fan but have gotten to the point where I just can’t do them all.
But I NEVER skip a SGDQs episode.
Always great interviews, fascinating discussions plus, of course, fun with asking the (always super smart) guest of the day to come up with their own dumb question. What a shock to discover Neil Degrasse Tyson doesn’t know how those big cranes get up to the top of NYC buildings! (And thanks to Nayeema and her intrepid quest to track down a crane expert, a couple weeks later we, and Neil, got a 10-minute special episode with the answer). Love this show.

I love a *lite* learning podcast. Heck yea I’m learning something but my brain isn’t soup!! Also Nayeema has a great voice which for me is a huge part of whether or not I’ll continue to listen to a pod. Just finished the episode with the eleven year olds which was an absolute delight. So excited to have a new podcast to add to my list!!
