Slow Learners - Podcast Rankings and reviews

First-time reader of GR and I love the content and banter of this podcast as a supplement to the text. Great show! But… the audio quality, especially the volume swings, is horribly distracting. It goes from quiet to obnoxiously loud and back. I thought it would improve after the first episodes, but alas…

Also the opening line to the book is misquoted in every intro with an extraneous “the.”

I have gained tremendous insight into Pynchon and his work through the tremendous amount of work and reading these folks have done. But please, please please improve the quality the jumps in volume, especially for someone listening on headphones, can be excruciating. Quite honestly folks, it’s not that hard to have good sound on a podcast these days.
