Each episode is a new favorite interview, the latest being the episode about Amy Tan feeding birds on a wildlife conservational grand scale. She’s so much like my mom, who I shared the episode with and got new stories after I managed to stay awake over lunch on the second play through. At night this podcast is guaranteed to put me to sleep by creating a safe space to kibitz someone else’s hobby. Their goal is usually not my goal but sometimes as with Amy Tan’s episode the hobby is something we’re doing already on our own smaller scale so it’s nice to know that if we met the successful person we would understand each other. It’s nice to know she’s out there watching and sketching birds. Thank you, John Moe, for great interviews and mood setting.☺️

The fact that this show not only has guest Neil Gaiman but also uses him for promotional material is beyond disturbing since his pattern of abusive behavior is public knowledge at this point. It’s an insult to still give this man a platform after all the people he sexually assaulted many of whom have been brave enough to come forward. If you platform abusers you participate in their continued position of power.
