Shameless Sex - Podcast Rankings and reviews

There are a lot of bad and boring sex podcasts out there, so much so that I struggle to find ones I enjoy in English and listen to mostly German and Spanish-language podcasts. Amy and April keep it fun, informative, they don’t repeat the same stuff we’ve all heard a thousand times, but it’s accessible to anyone and everyone. Their spirited conversations and, dare I say, shameless interjections, keep it flowing and interesting, not flat and monolithic and mundane. This might be the best English-language sex podcast out there.

Amy and April are so free and shameless in talking about everything in sex and relationships, and they manage to be pretty hilarious and light about it all. They are a dynamic duo with different perspectives and different histories. Their content relates to all types of relationships—monogamous, ENM/poly, pan-, sapio-, gay/bi/lesbian, curious, etc. I really wish that this type of honest talk had been available when I was coming of age. Thank you April and Amy!

I love this podcast, and have learned a lot. But sometimes the interrupting is a lot… April tends to talk over everyone mid sentence or just talk over everyone all together, then you can’t hear what anyone is saying. Also, seems like April says “not to make this about me” every podcast. I continue to listen everyday and I’m hopeful the interrupting will stop!! The content is great, but a lot of points missed because of it.

Love the podcast and love the tangents and excitement that leads to questions and explanations and curiosity even if they get off track of the “topic”… I say, the topic is just a reference and a starting place. I love what each episode leads to!
