I am so thankful that I came across a recommendation for this podcast on a random homeschooling Facebook group. I have two children who have spent their schooling careers in the public school system. One is headed to middle school next year, the other is headed to high school. It has always weighed heavy on my heart that homeschooling is best for them but the timing has never seemed right. After several issues the past few years between friend/classmate drama, teachers pushing ideas that our family doesn’t agree with, and feeling like our kids are stifled educationally, we decided to pull them out of the public school system and homeschool next school year. I was terrified that I am not going to be enough for them and that my relationship with my kids will suffer if we’re constantly fighting about schooling. I am still a little terrified, but this podcast has given me so much encouragement to believe that we can do this and ultimately, we will all thrive in the end.
