I absolutely enjoyed the content, format, sound effects etc. Couldn’t wait to get to next episode. Could’ve DEFINITELY done without the language. It didn’t add to the story. If anything it took away from it. It was all very professionally done except that.

I really enjoyed listening to this, and it opened up my eyes to the scam world, and that the scammers themselves were being scammed by their bosses. I think everybody should be aware of this, because once people are informed that will be the way to end this cycle of scamming.

This was such an insane podcast and opened my eyes to scam calls. The host did an amazing job covering the story and showing all side. I have recommended it to everyone

This was a real eye opener! I get fake friend requests on facebook, texts saying I owe a toll(no toll roads in Memphis 😝), offers to buy my house and many others almost daily. This podcast highlights secret huge factories that put out all these scams where employees are treated more like prisoners even to the extent of corporal punishment. It’s unnerving. I must be honest. I did have some issues with Charlie recruiting others into the factories. I don’t know if I’d sacrifice others to see the return of my family or not. But, this was informative and fascinating. I was hooked and listened to all the episodes in just a couple of days. Thank yall Sarah and Scaachi.

I’ve listened to plenty of Wondery podcast and this was the worst. There are so many holes in the story that the host never addresses. Charlie comes across as a scammer herself, but the host portrays her as a victim. I thought some of other reviewers were just being prudes when they complained about the swearing. But they’re actually right. It was so unnecessary and didn’t add to the story. This storyline had so much potential. Should have been done by an actual investigative journalist.

It was a good story and good journalism until the “final episode”. This was not a final episode but, a “Bonus episode ”. You never find out how the victims were rescued. Very disappointing lack of ending.
