If you need a ray of sunshine in your day-to-day life, listen to Queen Shelby on this podcast. Yes, you will learn about habits, routines, and practical steps for improving your life, but the bonus is listening to a kind, warm, encouraging, and understanding person! It’s incredible how this young woman in her 20s is so wise, so thoughtful, and has learned so much from her life experiences. You will find yourself rooting for her and waiting happily to hear what she does next! And her content is great! This podcast will slowly yet surely help you tackle life. Don’t miss out!

Shelby has such amazing energy. I love listening to her stories and experiences. I found her on Tik Tok after doing a search for “1% better”. I’ve been looking to improve my mental health and just life in general in the areas of health, work, being balanced, and sticking to a budget/financial plan. Reading Atomic Habits got me interested in the idea of getting one percent better and not trying to tackle everything all at once. Getting overwhelmed by doing all of that definitely wouldn’t have helped my mental health, and I would probably end up giving up like the numerous times before. Shelby’s Tik Tok led me to finding her podcast. I started back at the very first episode. I feel like I’ve found the cheat codes to life. I finally feel like I have realistic goals and a realistic starting place with a realistic way to achieve my goals. Thank you, Shelby!!

Hey Shelby! I’ve been following you for over a year now (pre podcast days) and wanted to say thank you for breaking down tactical ways to improve your life. You’ve done so much for me and others and I constantly recommend your platform for anyone wishing to learn about self improvement.

I have a suggestion for future videos. I love self improvement, but maybe this can expand beyond us to our environment and the planet. You’ve shown you’re open to learning with the nutrition course and documentaries - there are so many documentaries on sustainability and little habits we can implement on to help the planet (e.g composting can be a partner activity, meal planning can curb food waste, walking instead of driving always, etc). Hope you’ll take this suggestion into consideration. Thanks!

I love the content of this pod and want to keep listening because there is so much to learn. But solo episodes just aren’t as interesting to me. I’d love to see more interviews. Maybe you could have an intro where you personally deliver a monologue/teach a topic and then follow it up with an interview to assuage both crowds (because I’ve seen other reviews say they like solo content, so everyone has their different opinion!) I just personally think of podcast like talk show and I like to hear people have a conversation about something. This book review (unlocking subconscious mind) was so interesting, I’d love to hear it like a book club. If you couldn’t get the author to come on, maybe have one of your friends who has read it join you and you do a book club discussion about it? That would be more engaging to me- the back and forth.

It’s a good podcast but the shows are dropped inconsistently. I look forward to it every week but sometimes she goes weeks without posting or advising she won’t post or when she will post another episode again.
