I don’t think I’ve ever left a review of basically anything before, but wanted to for this one because I don’t want Simmons/The Ringer to cancel this show, even though I feel like Van and Joel give them something to think about at least a few times per episode (while Tate nervously laughs and guides the ship as best he can). Not just the most entertaining college football podcast out there, the most entertaining podcast, period. I legit LOL’d today listening to the Utah/BYU discussion. 5 stars, no notes. #HEAD

I think the magic to a great podcast is a group of people enjoying each other’s company. The subject matter is almost secondary.
I think Tate & Van have a special talent for the ability to be themselves in any room — no matter who’s around then — that lets others feel invited to do the same.
I love the hang tbh. Don’t organize / sanitize the show too much — the back & forth, the ribbing, the “mess” is the magic!

Joel, Tate, & Van are a GREAT TEAM!!! Call them the Triple Option, they deliver game analysis with a natural humor that never feels forced. I look forward to both episodes every week. Keep up the great work, fellas!

The guys are good at bringing energy and knowledge. They get way off topic sometimes like all Ringer podcasts. The thing that gets me is that they have some of the most aggressive ads. Listening to the newest episode and by minute 4, there are two ad breaks and they are edited in a way that cuts the hosts off almost mid-sentence. Some podcasts open with an ad and then within 2 minutes, another stupid ad. It is an immediate buzzkill every time.
