Just listened to the first episode and it’s remarkable. A perfect synergy of history and context that is helpful for anyone in this world to understand what’s going on behind the scenes or in plain sight. Looking forward to more episodes and will update after more are released.
Update- after listening to all the episodes, they were all really solid and built upon one another and it’s been a few months since I listened and I have to say all the information has really stuck with me. I have a much more instinctual sense when it comes to processing information than I had before and I think it is definitely in part due to this podcast, thanks Rigged!

This podcast has tidy and to the point episodes that are also gripping and human. Very interesting to hear the history of this field and the creation/evolution of persuasive tactics. Can’t get enough!

PR is so embedded into our social, cultural, justice, and economic lives it's hard to spot. Fortunately we've got the team at Rigged (especially host Amy Westervelt!) to not only give us the history, she's got the tools to be a more informed citizen. Listen to when it wasn't called PR, even the people practicing it called it propaganda. Pro tip from the first episode: If a group advocating for or against something won't disclose it's funding, it's a a front group for an industry tryinig to protect their proits).

This is a really well done social and business history of America. The host has an engaging style and keeps the story moving along and not bogged down in tedious details.
