So excited this is finally available legally! I had gotten hooked during my Sirius/XM free trial in my new car, and then downloaded the next few ones off a sketchy website, and then had to import into iTunes. Now it's a one-stop shop!!!
Ferry's music and his faves are always the best for people like me who love energetic trance. :)

I’m a huge fan of the countdown. I like that it is a chart show for music that is NOT on any standard chart LOL. So, WE THE PEOPLE of progressive/house/trance get to make our own top 40 every week! Track selections are great and Ferry always lets you know what song (and mix) you're listening to, just in case you want to go out and grab the vinyl for your own gig.

Ferry always brings the heat for your trance, house, and progressive needs. His taste is diverse, so his show is as well. Have an open mind and enjoy some great music! #EDM

Recently, they started charging for the Dance Department podcasts so I searched for a replacement and Corsten's Countdown is now my fave. Plus, you get to vote for the best EDM when it's over. This podcast is clutch! :)

Ever since Ferry has moved to a new studio/prouction house, this has fallen off in a lot of ways. I’m saying this as a hardcore trance fan that subscribes to at least 5 weekly trance podcasts and has seen Ferry live in concert at least three times in the last few years. First, the overall audio quality of this is now TERRIBLE. It’s compressed to the point that you cannot even truly judge the song. It sounds like a mono AM station. The diversity of the tracks has also decreased substantially. It used to be a good mix across the trance/progressive genre that had a “home base” of Ferry’s sound but also exposed you to other concepts from other labels, artists, etc. Now, it just feels like a commercial for Ferry’s label, and it’s all very “same” sounding. Lastly, simple conveniences like separating the tracks by chapter have been removed, so it’s more difficult to navigate. I stick with it because I still want to support Ferry, but geez I don’t know for how much longer.
