I’ve been following Rob, Patrick, and Cado since the beginning of the Waypoint era. Insightful and thoughtful commentary on the video game industry, while diving into the nuances and politics of video games. All of this alongside the occasional conversations of old delivered burritos, Ryan Davis stories, and legends of the Lap Dog. The voices at Remap have stood the test of time, and feel more necessary than ever as the video game pile gets bigger while the precarious nature of the world they’re made in becomes more and more unstable. Remap is an unyielding camp fire in dark times.

Excellent in-depth podcast covering up-and-coming games, indie game news, game labor news, and more. While the podcasts are long, i’m happy for this! love the show!

Excellent perspectives on games and the industry. It’s especially fun when they disagree, I appreciate they can respect each other while still fighting their corner. Love the deep dives, love the squirrel-distracted tangents.

No matter the crew, guests, topics, always a treat to listen to. I don’t even pay attention to sports but I’ll listen to them talk about sports for hours and really that goes for most other topics as well.

Here’s yet another tedious podcast of dudes droning on about monotonous nonsense, often with NOTHING to do with gaming. Example? The latest episode showcase the dudes going on and on about Taylor Swift’s latest boyfriend. SIXTEEN MINUTES of boyfriend talk.

Then a bit of gaming talk, but quickly another nonsense sidetrack ensues, this time all about Tom Clancy novels, Boomers, and endless details about Jack Ryan’s universe.

If you enjoy podcasts with mindless non-gaming babble, this is it!

Enjoyed the show for a while but the episode lengths stayed growing and growing to the point where casually listening through an episode will take several days for multi hour episodes. Some of the tangents the hosts go on end up lasting so long that the podcast ends up feeling unfocused to a point where I feel like my time is being wasted.
