Thank you for this podcast and all the interesting BTS tea! I love you both, but I want to echo how imperative it is for lightly melanated folks to listen, affirm, and hold space for our deeply melanated sisters to express the very real bias of colorism, which is incessant not only in the entertainment industry, but throughout the planet. It was disheartening that Erika had to do the labor of holding space for Kim’s feelings, when it should have been the other way around. You are both gems and I hope this feedback is received with the love and respect intended.

To be able to get insight and depth from a cast I grew up admiring as a young black actor. I truly both enjoyed the show AND wanted to be ya’ll. Growing up in the 90s looking at it from the outside Living Single was glamorous! No drugs, no gang violence, no extreme moments of poverty, no aggression! And now we get to relive it with the cast and hear the stories and be privy to your real personalities in ways we never were before! This is a jem. Thank you.

Living Single is my comfort show so to be able to hear the commentary of Kim and Erika while rewatching it alongside them is a dream!

They offer so much warmth, joy and love in this space. This is the ONLY podcast that I have ever wanted to watch on YouTube. Thank you ladies for such a gift!

Here’s someone I’ve been watching since I was little kid and I get to find out just how amazing she is! Cant wait for more episodes; total hit just like Living Single was!!
