I’ve been a fan of Catherine Townsend for years now, and I love Red Collar. But each episode has editing mistakes these days—Catherine repeating words (ie “finally” * pause like a transition edit* “finally, he went…”) sentences getting cut off. It’s like none of the editors/Catherine listen to the Final Cut before posting it because these are noticeable issues.”

This has line been one of my favorite pods, but since coming back independently there are a lot of noticeable editing errors.
Catherine speaks in a weird, halting manner that she didn’t before. As if she’s got an outline, but not a script.
Reading a script doesn’t make you less of a podcaster. It leads to a better and smoother listening experience. Not to mention that some episodes have abrupt cut offs.
I’d love to give this five stars again, but I’m finding it harder to listen now that it’s far less polished.

This podcast is narrated very well! I didn’t notice intrusive ads. No try-hard witty expressions. If I had a story to tell, something for the world to know, I would want Catherine to tell it hahaha

Thank you for respecting Cam Lyman’s gender in your episode about him. Just a note: Gender *Affirming* Surgery is the most accurate and up to date term, not “reassignment”. But otherwise you handled the episode with respect, grace, and integrity as you always do. I love your work!
