Dave and Chris changed the format of Recipe Club for Season 4 - and the podcast is all the better for it. It now combines all the best elements from earlier seasons with useful information and recipes that you’ll actually want to try. And there are still lots of laughs. I look forward to Recipe Club appearing in my feed every week.

I’ve listened to every episode of Recipe Club since season 1. What I liked about the show is hearing how other people (from casual cook to professional chef) would choose to follow/interpret an obscure recipe found on the internet. The new format in season 4 is unorganized and doesn’t attempt to be informative about food or cooking anymore. Now it’s just a random mish mash of unfocused conversations and opinions like every other generic amateur podcast.

I was so happy to see Recipe Club’s new season. I LOVE the new guest judges~ an improvement over a couple of the past regulars who were no bueno. I left the first episode of the season feeling frustrated over the sound editing, (or lack thereof). It was a constant dance of adjusting the volume on my device, which is annoying. It needs to be leveled out, or forever be a 4-star show.

I love the content of this podcast, but the sound is absolutely terrible. The volume is constantly fluctuating across the entire podcast in between various speakers. With all the talented people on this, it’s really confusing to me that they can’t get the sound right. But the content is really, David Chang is a genius.
