Brilliantly dynamic sound design woven with music and intimate, honest storytelling, I sense the center of this masterpiece seeding a revolution to honor and revere the sheer force of feminine black power.

Red for Revolution is a beautiful story, brilliantly told! The writing, acting, MUSIC and production are all fantastic. And it is so important and so wonderful to lift up the revolutionary power of queer Black love across the generations! Thank you for this amazing offering.

Starting off as such an intriguing story. I love the sounds in the background like lighting a cigarette, a teaspoon clinking in a beautiful flower laced tea cup, a screen door opening, a rocking chair creaking on a hollow wooden floor, (so I imagine). It took me back to a place in my own childhood. The voices fit the characters so well. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds. I will continue to tune in 🫶🏽👏🏽😍

I love the layered story and these great characters. The story winds so well between a young woman’s curiosity and fears , desires and the bold secret her grandma lived.

In episode 4, Jess tells her three sources that episodes 2 and 3 are about them. This is not, in fact, true. None of this series is about them. Their stories are simply fodder to tell Jess’s own story. The fact that she isn’t transparent about this with the three of them or even with herself ultimately leads to her unwitting exploitation of three vulnerable individuals, and an experience that leaves the listener shocked at her utter lack of self-awareness.
