Rachel Maddow has become a fast fav of mine, not only because of the historical context of her research and presentation but also the way she highlights how the information being presented has relevance to so much of what we are seeing in everyday life today.
I, like many, believed the Republican Party was on track with much of their agenda and as I’ve gotten older I discovered their lost humanity has turned into vicious attacks on those less fortunate.
Continuing to raise everyone by eliminating the obstacles systemic in our society is the only clear path forward and Rachel helps shine the light on the path forward.

This series is so well documented, so in depth about a time when most Americans alive today hadn’t been born yet. I was a kid through most of it, but I feel as if I were there. The parallels with today are overwhelming, and I thank her for showing us there might be some ways to persist and get through these impossible times.

I generally enjoy listening to RM but this felt off. She just kept saying the same things over and over and over again. It felt pushy and almost like propaganda which is odd because I agree with everything she said and share the same perspective. There is just a very uncomfortable vibe that I can’t shake. It felt like she grabbed my head in her hands, and said see, look there! Do you see it!
