I really enjoy this podcast. I only wish episodes were longer. That wasn’t criticism, Pearlman doesn’t add unnecessary fluff just to fill time. He dives deep into topics we are all familiar with and adds a lot of interesting stories from behind the scenes.
It reminds me of a picture a friend of mine has hanging on his wall. From 6 feet away it’s a large likeness of Bob Marley. But if you step closer it’s made up of hundreds of small detailed images of Bob Marley.

Having followed Jeff Pearlman on Tik Tok and having read his works over the years in Sports Illustrated, I am loving that he now podcasting. He is such a great orator and he is equipped with an arsenal of firsthand experience over the years of some of the greatest decades of sports history. Love this show!!!

For those of us that love sports for the characters and stories, and tire of the modern athlete authorized sanitation of profiles and stories: this is a must listen. Great work.

His storytelling style is like have a bar conversation with a good buddy that has some great sports stories to share with you. Swear words and all.

And he pulls no punches! If someone is a jerk, he calls it out unfiltered.

I look forward to hearing more episodes.
