Predictable: NBC’s Weather and Climate Podcast

by NBC

Predictable will explore everything from how we forecast tomorrow’s weather — to how we can predict droughts or hurricanes months ahead — and how climate change is impacting those predictions. NBC meteorologist Chase Cain will talk with everyone from celebrities to politicians and meteorologists to dive deep into the science and its impacts, but those conversations will be anything but predictable. The good news is that there’s still time to change what’s next and protect our beautiful planet.

Schwarzenegger has magnetic charisma in-person that I wasn’t ready for… No wonder he’s had such a long, successful career! The most fascinating part of our conversation is where he explains how bodybuilding and personal training taught him a lot about psychology and effective communication.

ChaseCain · Aug 2025

I've been following Chase for years. I expect this podcast to be an absolute masterpiece in storytelling. Chase brilliantly weaves facts and scientific insights into captivating narratives that are not only engaging but incredibly easy to understand. Even those with little background in climate science will find the explanations clear and relatable. The way he breaks down complex topics into simple, compelling stories is nothing short of genius. And yes, the world needs THIS podcast.

MOCO Deb · Aug 2025

Chase makes it easy to understand a lot of the issues we are facing. Great interviewer asking questions that we earthlings need to know the answers to. Arnold was a great first guest. Cant wait to hear more.
