When I saw the cast is audio books, I hesitated as many book podcasts are monotonous and painful to get through. This series and Mr. Suchet’s performance are very like watching his television series. They’re so well done that I look forward to each.

I love listening to theis, however the ads cut in weirdly and sometimes cut off the story. One story was cut off at the end end right when they were relieving how the crime happened.

David Suchet is excellent. I wish he did more Poirot books. Everyone has a voice and his American accent is better than most other narrators (I like his other voices as well, but I don’t know enough to comment on their accuracy)
For these stories, having ads at the beginning would be so much better than in the middle of a sentence or action in the story. Take the trouble to put it at the end of a paragraph or just put them all at the beginning.
Also, the end of one of the stories was cut off. I think it was the second one.

This is so fun to listen to - especially if you love Hercules Poirot, but the narration is just wonderfu!!

Love the content and the narrator but there is absolutely no warning for the ads and they’re 4x louder than the book. After six or seven times jumping out of my skin with no warning I think I’m done.
Edit: and the episodes regularly cut off without finishing the story. This is a bad product. Don’t waste your time.

Although Suchet does an excellent job narrating the stories, there are loud ads that randomly interrupt in an annoying way. You have to decide if it is tolerable or not. I couldn’t finish the series. Such a shame.
