Great podcast that is a wealth of information. Melissa is relatable, energizing and makes learning digestible. I love that she includes her faith without making the whole podcast about it. Also, the variety of topics and guests always have me excited to listen. Would recommend to beginner and seasoned homesteaders alike!

I just discovered your podcast, and listened to the first kitchen round table episode. I was rolling in laughter with the garlic story! The very first recipe I ever followed when I had first moved out on my own was for hummus- the recipe called for 1 clove. I had no idea what that meant, and it was before google was super accessible, so I just assumed it meant a whole bulb. I then thought, well, I really love garlic! I’ll just double the amount! As I was so excited to take that first bite, but went into shock, and thought I was going to DIE! I couldn’t catch my breath as the garlic was burning all the way down! Needless to say, I haven’t tried the recipe ever since (almost 20 years later, lol!) it’s so funny to me now, because I grow just about 100 bulbs every year, and still love it! Just not that much…. I’m loving this podcast! And I can’t wait for the next Kitchen Table episode!!!!

I like the content of this podcast that Jill puts out, but I would become a much more regular listener if she used better equipment for recording audio. Something to consider! I also appreciate her using her platform to read God’s word and share the Gospel.

Melissa your pod cast is full of information, fun stories and interviews. You try to keep you heart open with you listeners and share your journey with others and that I am grateful for. I have never been a religious person but I do see my self as a spiritual person. Even though I don’t practice in Christianity I appreciate your versus of the week. I wish others who listened that have not cared for that part give those words a a listen and take those good words into being a good person and not take you down. Keep up the amazing job.
