I just finished episode one, and am excited for more. I even learned something new about the Declaration of Independence! As someone who’s grown up hearing about the importance of patriotism, I see more of it here than in a number of media outlets claiming to value it. The honesty the hosts approach it with - which any real study of history is incomplete and maligned without - is definitely appreciated by this listener. “And these truths don’t erase the achievements, but they force us to ask better questions” is right up there with Voltaire’s “to the living we owe respect, to the dead we owe only the truth.” Please keep up the good work y’all. And thank you for caring about an institution more of us should value. Because like Thomas Paine said, “what we esteem too lightly, we lose too easily. It is dearness only that gives everything its value.” The USPS is definitely something we should value, and part of our freedom.

Loved the deep dive of research they went into for the podcast! The post office deserves a lot of respect and not the lack of investment and attention it gets now

We are all responsible for our country; we are all connected. Remaining ignorant by choice asks everyone to be victimized by our leadership, government, etc. Here’s a chance to tune in to what is taking place to our critical institutions, the postal system is a great place to zoom in. Aileen and Maia are fun, honest and outright amazing! I am a better human for spending time with them.
