After 15 years of parenting while reading and listening to Dr. Meeker, and I just want to say thank you! Always such a great help and encouragement to my wife and I. The podcast is a part of my weekly plan, and I find it so helpful navigating the immeasurable challenge of parenting. As a military family, she has become “one of the family” and a consistent mentor throughout the years we wouldn’t have otherwise. Thank you!

Subscribed as she actually has good parenting points often, but getting into politics and religion and the latest on CRY was too much. Try the good inside podcast less polemics and rants.

I listened to the episode about video game addiction and at times thought I was listening to an infomercial. This episode seemed very canned—more like an opportunity for two people to pitch their products than a true conversation. Also, the only evidence used in this hour long episode to back up personal opinions about video game usage were anecdotal experiences with their own children (and the supposed glowing reviews their children gave them for banning smart phones and video games entirely). You have to wonder what was going on in the guest speaker’s family to drive her son to escape with video games in the first place. 🤷‍♀️
