I’ve loved listening to season one and even revisiting a couple of episodes to capture all the details and share with others. I’m so impressed with the research, dynamic storytelling, and thoughtful connections between each story and iconic figures and events. I’ve learned so much and had many laugh out loud or full gasp moments. This is really a treasure.

I can't believe how much I enjoy this podcast on a regular basis. The format is perfect, the storytelling is excellent, and I learn something about Black history from every episode. And it's incredibly funny? I really hope media companies wake up and someone funds a second season. An absolute gem.

I love this show. Nichole is a fantastic, capable, and smart host and the show straddles the line so well between education, entertainment, and fun banter. Highly highly recommend.
