Stumbled upon this podcast when my relationship got turbulent. I never realized how much room we had to grow with all 6 Pillars of Intimacy! But Tony and Alisa are a wealth of knowledge and make tough topics fun- or at least easy- to talk about. I wouldn’t have the loving, supporting, wonderful relationship with my gorgeous woman without them. Highly highly recommend you take a listen :)

I feel super glad to have found this podcast and have been listening to episodes in the 400-800s. Tony and Alisa share open, honest, real life experiences and they do not shy away from the difficult topics. Several episodes have resonated with my spouse and me, and we have found it helpful to know we’re not alone in this stage of life. One quick warning for those considering this podcast: skip entirely the first 20 or so episodes (or at the very least listen to a WHOLE bunch before you dig back that far). Had I started at episode 1, I wouldn’t have made it past the first few because Tony is such a whiney brat who consistently must get in the last word. Thank goodness he grew out of that, because the last several years of episodes are amazing!

I did enjoy this episode and found it helpful in learning how to deal with my political differences with family members. However, I wish there would’ve been more talk about differences within the marriage concerning political subjects. I feel like my husband and I are actually on opposite sides of thought when it comes to politics and it has caused quite a lot of stress and anxiety in our marriage.
