I’ve been looking for another amazing horror podcast for years (I’ve been listening to a more well known one but honestly the stories haven’t been as good for years now), and I stumbled on Ominous Thrill. I wasn’t expecting much but I really enjoyed each episode. Sound effects and voice actors are top notch and theres a bit of a ‘stick it to ‘em’ revenge vibe for the bad people and I’m super vindictive so it makes me happy lol. Definitely an awesome podcast with great stories!

I stumbled upon this podcast. I love the spooky story podcasts and have been having trouble getting into one. I am a big fan of Dr. NoSleep and the NoSleep podcast, but this one has riveting stories with an interesting immersive sound. I would highly recommend!

I binged the first season of this show on a train ride. And then I seriously considered staying on the train to listen to the episodes of the 2nd season because I didn't want it to end! Such an excellent anthology, with top-notch voice actors, very detailed sound design, and solid writing all combine to make this a must-listen for fans of horror!

Horror fans, delight in Jeff Schmidt’s masterpiece theater of the macabre! Not only are his original episodes well worth a listen, but he’s chosen some incredible voice actors to bring other authors’ stories to life - definitely check out Extraction by Tiffany Michelle Brown, for one. And don’t forget to wear headphones for the wraparound audio experience - truly, a special way to enjoy horror content!

I don’t know what’s going on with this podcast. It was great when it started. I’ve listened from the start. It seems that the ‘line in sand’ keeps being pushed out with each new season. Is this a shock value increases downloads thing? Unfortunately for me, the Lilith season goes too far. It was very spicy and graphic. I don’t want to actually hear b j s and sa. There are tasteful ways to portray this. It was gross and uncomfortable. I really was excited for that storyline too. Finally unsubscribing. Too uncomfortable and don’t want coworkers and family to stumble on it.
