THANK YOU 🙏 for the amazing and important interview about AVALON. And THANK YOU MOIRA! you are so brave and so amazing because you were given such evil but you’ve given back such love and help for others. I truly appreciate you giving the interview – you helped me
Only you were brave enough to do it and ***we’ve got your back ***
You can hear the compassion and intelligence in the hosts voice. This is just so well done. All those ego driven true crime podcasts need to take a lesson from this man—Quit laughing at your own jokes and maybe give the subject matter the dignity it deserves.

Just wanted you to know I found this podcast a couple years ago and it went on my endless list of things to try. I finally started listening last Monday and I’ve binged you for a week straight now. You’re kind, caring, thoughtful, and deep dive into these cases. I’ve had a rough year myself- as a victim, but you do this right. Thank you for telling stories and maintains integrity while entertaining and insightful. Keep doing what you’re doing.

I’ve been listening to Obscura since the beginning. I think the content is great.
It’s cases I’ve never heard of. This podcast is always on my first to listen to list.

First of all….you have the best podcast voice out there. Im commented after listening to the sniper episode released on 4/23. This is such a nugget of gold to find. At the very end the newscaster says he says he had a degenerative disease. And then it clicked - he was suffering pain already. Bawled my eyes because I know the desperation of that feeling. Love all your stuff. Its so different from any other podcast. You only add commentary when needed and I love it. 5 stars!!!!

I have been an avid subscriber for the past 3 years. Recently, I’ve noticed that almost every case is now split into Parts 1,2,3 etc…
I mean I get it. But what about the people that actually support and pay an $8 monthly subscription? Shouldn’t we be able to hear a full episode in appreciation for being loyal?
Also, the last few episodes are quick 20 min episodes that consist of mainly about 90% 911 recording/body cam audio. I miss the story telling and deep research Justin would do.

Justin, I used to love your podcast and have been a long-time subscriber since your early days. I’ve recommended you to others in person many times, and even posted recommendations for you on social media.
I unfortunately had to unsubscribe today. Not to be offensive, but you have gotten lazy. What was once an interesting and informative podcast with thoughtful and neutral commentary has now become 911 calls and LEO recordings.
No background, no commentary, no facts, no setting the scene - the show is just now you splicing together some 911 and LEO calls. I know that takes some effort, but that’s so lazy to still expect people to support such a drop in quality.
Please take a step back and think about what you would like your podcast to truly be in a way that reflects the respect you have for true crime. Take care and do better.
