Nuance Needed - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I have a hard time finding podcasts about mental health that keep me engaged. This one is an absolute game changer. I’m a 39 year old woman getting my masters in addiction counseling, I have my own OCD diagnosis, and I have a kiddo with Bi-Polar. So much of my life currently revolves around mental health and therapy and I appreciate the breakdown of so many mental health issues in such a *nuanced* way! I send these episodes to classmates, but also to my family a friends because it covers all of the bases.

Really appreciate their dissection of pop culture through a critical, therapy focused lens. They make me feel like my skepticism of a lot of what we see on social media isn’t unfounded.

I love the different conversations that are able to be had looking at important mental health topics from a nuanced lens and not just black and white thinking. It’s helped me look at things in my life differently and also feel so seen and heard at the same time! Sharing through personal experiences is at the heart of the podcast and what I love the most about it!

Nuanced Needed has become my unofficial therapist (don’t worry, I have a real life one too). Love the thoughtful conversation and hearing the experiences of Amanda and Sam. Their banter also makes it entertaining and Sam’s laugh is the best. Give it a listen!!
